How does Family North Star relate to Your North Star?
Family North Star is the family chapter of Your North Star, an institution devoted to Human Navigation — the discipline of shaping who your family is becoming in a changing world. The same practice is held for a person, a leadership team and a day. Here it is held for a family. It is not a separate method or brand.
What is Family North Star?
Family North Star is a self-guided weekend experience that helps couples and parents recognise the belief that has quietly shaped their family — and choose to live by it deliberately. Over two intentional days, you explore what you already believe, and from there your strengths, hopes and future readiness become visible — through structured prompts and exercises you complete on your own, in your own time — and leave with Your Family North Star — a Family Book to keep.
Who is it for?
It is designed for couples and parents who want to recognise what has quietly shaped their family, live by it deliberately, and build a calm, intentional plan for the years ahead.
How long does the experience take?
The full experience is designed as a quiet weekend — roughly Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon. It is fully self-paced: you can save your progress and return whenever you need to.
Can my partner and I do it together?
Yes. You can invite your partner to your Family North Star workspace. You each answer reflection prompts and can see each other's answers, so your Family North Star reflects both of you.
What do I receive at the end?
At the end of the experience you compose Your Family North Star — a Family Book holding your guiding beliefs, shared direction, shared practices, strengths and your future together, which you can keep, and, if you wish, print at home.
Is my data private?
Your answers belong to your family workspace. We never share your reflection data, sell it, or use it to train models. You can read more in our Privacy policy.
Can I gift Family North Star?
Yes. Visit the Gift page to purchase access for another family. They receive a beautiful certificate and a simple redemption link to begin their journey.
How do I redeem an access code or gift?
Go to the Redeem page and enter your code. If you are not signed in yet, you will be guided to create an account first, then your access will be unlocked automatically.
